From drawing to delivery
Five stages. The documentation required from the customer is listed under 01.
-
What to send us
A drawing in PDF, DWG, DXF or STEP. Scanned paper drawings, dimensioned photographs or a physical sample to be reproduced are equally accepted. Where no drawing exists, the critical dimensions are agreed before production starts.
-
What we check
Geometry, material, required operations, finish and quantity. Dimensions or tolerances that are not unambiguous are clarified before the offer is issued.
-
Quotation
An offer stating price, terms of supply and lead time, set according to the part, the operations involved and the quantity. The feasibility assessment is not charged.
-
Production
Set-up and machining in our workshop, with dimensional inspection during the run. Complementary operations and surface treatments are coordinated by us.
-
Delivery
Final inspection against the approved drawing, packing and dispatch. Delivery to customers abroad is made directly; repeat orders of the same part are run on the process already established.
Inspection and documentation
Dimensional inspection
Each part is checked against the approved drawing, during the run and before delivery.
Documentation on request
Material certificate and dimensional report. To be stated at enquiry stage for inclusion in the quotation.
Drawing confidentiality
Drawings, models and specifications are used solely to assess the enquiry and to manufacture the part. They are not disclosed to third parties, except the suppliers of operations required by the process.
One contact person
A single point of contact from enquiry to delivery, with direct responsibility for production.
